International Faculty Gerald Maurer (Austria)  Gerald
Maurer is currently the Professor of Medicine and Director of the Division of
Cardiology, Chairman of the 2nd Department of Medicine in the Medical University
of Vienna and Director of Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Cardiovascular
Research. Dr. Maurer has served on numerous prestigious cardiology journals and
is currently the Editor-in Chief of the European Journal of Echocardiography and
will be the Editor-in-Chief of the European Heart Journal - Cardiovascular
Imaging in January 2012. Dr. Maurer was the Past President of Austrian Society
of Cardiology as well as Austrian Society of Internal Medicine. He has authored
over 200 peer reviewed publications focusing on echocardiography, coronary
artery disease and valvular disease, as well as more than 20 book chapters and 2
books. |
